ILF readiness bootcamps

Strengthen your impact measurement & management

Fill your IMM gaps with our group-based bootcamps!

The ILF Readiness Bootcamps are structured, group-based sessions designed to support German impact enterprises in strengthening their Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) systems in preparation for engaging with Impact-Linked Finance (ILF).  The bootcamps are modular by design: each session addresses common and distinct gaps in IMM practice (such as unclear impact logic or weak KPIs) and can be attended as a standalone learning unit. At the same time, the sessions are sequenced to build on one another, allowing participants with limited prior experience in IMM to progress step by step from foundational concepts to more advanced applications.

Overall, the bootcamps enable enterprises to credibly define, measure, and manage impact in a way that sets a great foundation for our 1:1 Coaching and for Impact-Linked-Finance in general. To get the most value from the Bootcamp and any follow-on support opportunities, we strongly encourage you to complete the ILF POTENTIAL ANALYSIS beforehand – but it’s not a must.

The 3rd cohort starts in early September - apply in time!
Live module dates: 2.9. / 9.9. / 16.9. / 23.9. 2026

ILF Readiness Bootcamp Modules

What you'll get - for free

What's the structure and timeline?

Our bootcamps encompass 6 modules in total. If you’ve done the ILF Potential Analysis beforehand, we can recommend specific ones based on your individual results.

Depending on the number of modules you participate in, the overall duration is around 2 weeks. We plan to offer the bootcamps every quarter. The 2nd cohort is full, and the 3rd will start around early September 2026. Apply in time!

What will I have by the end?

By the end of the bootcamp, participants typically have:

  • Tools and guidance to develop a clear Impact Statement articulating intended social and/or environmental change.
  • A simplified impact logic or strategy explaining how the business creates impact.
  • This includes building an understanding of how to craft a small, prioritized set of robust impact KPIs, which will support greater confidence and capability to communicate your impact to investors.

How do the bootcamps connect to the other offerings?

While you can choose which of our 3 offerings you’d like to apply for, the bootcamps are the central bridge within the overall “Ready for Impact-Linked Finance” pathway:

  • Before the bootcamps: Enterprises ideally go through the ILF Potential Analysis, which assesses IMM maturity and determines the best bootcamp modules to choose (and which to skip).
  • After the bootcamps: Enterprises which want to progress more and apply for the 1:1 ILF Preparation Coaching should have a sufficiently robust IMM system and concrete financing needs.

In short, the bootcamps build the strategic and measurement foundations required for credible, investor-ready Impact-Linked Finance.

Feedback from the 1st bootcamp cohort

“I had the opportunity to participate in the bootcamp focused on Impact-Linked Finance and impact measurement, and it gave me a much clearer framework for approaching something I’ve been intuitively working on through community building and entrepreneurship. We learned how to structure impact in a more intentional and measurable way. It helped me answer impact-related questions about my projects, such as “Why does it matter? What kind of change are we actually creating? And how do we know if that change is happening because of our work?” I especially liked the sessions about designing meaningful impact and creating KPIs that are not only business-oriented, but also aligned with the actual change we want to create in people, communities, or the environment.”
